Claim

Svetlovidov loved his career of acting.


Ground

After his service in the military, Svetlovidov joined the theater in the early age. Now, he is a 68 years old man and still serving as the lead actor. During the course of his career, he fell in love with a woman. He decided to keep a marriage proposal in front of her. She rejected the proposal by saying she would marry Svetlovidov, only if he would leave his job on the theater. Svetlovidov didn’t accept the condition and left her for his career. He was always appreciated for his talent in acting of which he was very fond off. He spent his whole life in acting.


Warrant

Ground with the evidence regarding the love life of Svetlovidov proves our claim to be correct. The narrator gave his whole life in acting despite of all the critics that he received during the time period. Svetlovidov had number of chances to choose a different career paths but he didn’t. He could have gone with her lover and spent a different life or he could also have done something associated with military.


Backing

Love is something around which people revolve their life cycles. They basically can’t live without it. Everyone needs a touch of care, warmth of proclivity and feeling of respect just as much they need air to breathe. Svetlovidov also had a chance to feel all of that. But he chose not to because he loved his career more. Not only the love of his life, his audience who liked only his talent but not him also couldn’t make him choose a different career plan.


Rebuttals

His lamentation over his past life after being drunk shows a different road. It seems as if he regretted all of his choices that he made in the past. Hence, he feels extremely down and lonely.


 Qualifiers

He breathes for his love of acting. He never left his career no matter the circumstances. He didn't care about the love of his life and other critics. Hence, Svetlovidov loved his career of acting.
